Having suffered amnesia, Sazi Khumalo wakes up to a challenging life situation. His struggle to stay out of jail is bundled with the need to find out who he was before his injury. He relies on family, friends, and business associates to figure out what kind of person he may have been, to aid him determine what may be true or false about him.
His failing businesses don’t make the situation any better for him and lead him into an overwhelming influx of vulnerability. His son, a professional rugby player, takes him through the reality of the racial biases that exist in the ‘New South Africa’.
