Conscious In Crisis is a book that confronts issues in society that people only whisper about. It goes from baring the wounds of rape culture in our country, exploitation of young women by blessers, neo-colonialism of countries and the continent as a result of China's growing influence in Africa through questionable loans with exploitative agreements, the state of violence and killings in schools.

It also highlights the importance of the value women play in society in the upliftment of society, how Ubuntu remains a fundamental moral compass for society, challenges citizens to contribute to the change they seek in the country, and how the current generation must rise up to find and fill its mission amidst the struggles it's facing, more so awakening their consciousness in times of crisis.
