In the black community of New York, called Harlem, lives an African-American boy called James Kyle Lieutenant. James unarmed Father gets killed by a racist white police officer named Derek Chains who gets away with in court. James manages to kill Officer Derek Chains without anyone finding out. Years later James becomes a successful businessman and had two children. After time, another black man called Jamal Henry Wilson is accused of the crime James committed many years ago. What will James do? Will James turn himself in to set Jamal free or will he not for the sake of his kids?
